THE monumental victory for property owners in the Map Act occurred today.
Congratulations! The N.C. Supreme Court affirmed the Court of Appeals ruling in Kirby v. NCDOT.
This means the NCDOT took your property and has to pay you damages for the taking. The wait is over.
Justice Newby wrote the unanimous opinion for the Supreme Court.
