For the second time in the summer of 2016, HBNSO made the front page of North Carolina Lawyers Weekly for an appellate victory.
This recent case was a battle over electronic communications (e-mails) that were claimed as privileged by the opposing party. At the trial level, our Chiefe Superior Court Judge, Judge Burke, ordered the opposing party to turn over the e-mails over their objection. When the other side appealed, our client won on appeal.
