Court to NCDOT: Start Paying Map Act Land Owners

The Forsyth County Superior Court ordered the NCDOT to start paying Map Act Property Owners in the Northern Beltway. Judge Craig entered the order today. This order is pursuant to the landmark NC Supreme Court ruling in Kirby v. NCDOT that said the NCDOT inversely condemned property owners land when it filed the Map Act in the Forsyth County Register of Deeds in 1997 and 2008.
