Kelly Motycka Otis

Kelly joined the firm as an associate in 2002 and practices in the areas of commercial and residential real estate. Specifically, she assists clients in purchasing, selling, leasing, developing and subdividing real property. She also is involved in the financing of real property transactions and represents lenders in collections and foreclosures. She represents a wide variety of clients including individuals, builders, developers, real estate agents, homeowners associations and banking institutions

Prior to joining the firm, she attended Purdue University where she was named Sophomore of the Year and received her B.A. as a double major in Psychology and Law and Society. At Purdue, she was tapped by the Mortar Board and was on the Dean's List every semester. She attended Wake Forest University School of Law where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Wake Forest Intellectual Property Law Journal. She received her J.D. in May of 2002 and was admitted to the North Carolina Bar in 2002.

Kelly is a Michigan native, but has lived in North Carolina since 1999. She and her husband Casey were married in 2006 and reside in Winston-Salem.
